I concede that the text printed on the top of the box to the effect of "Lift Tab To Open" is basically helpful and instructive, but on the part of the box underneath the aforementioned tab, it also says "To Close Insert Tab Here". Those seemed to me to be unnecessary instructions, and to my chagrin, upon closer examination of my pantry, I found two more boxes that had the exact same brain-dead instructions: The top image is from a box of Creamette pasta, below that is a box from Barilla pasta, and the lower-most image is from a box of Pop-Secret popcorn. Who can't figure out what that strategically placed perforated slot is for without written instructions? How stupid do they think we are?
